Through bi-weekly episodes, the FGTW podcast presents conversations that highlight the voices and lived experiences of young Black females. With both individual and parental consent (where applicable), adolescent and young adult Black females (ages 13-29) now have a space to discuss life experiences, current events, and issues most pertinent to their wellbeing, from their vantage point, uncensored. Join the host Dr. Marquitta Shree Dorsey, Ph.D., in conversation with other Black females about sensitive topics most relevant to their lived experiences. You'll also hear Dr. Dorsey offer subsequent bi-weekly PEP (Promoting Encouragement and Perseverance) Talks to anyone who might find them valuable, but particularly to young Black females. Dr. Marquitta Shree Dorsey, Ph.D is a social worker with nearly 20 years of community practice experience with youth and young adult Black females and families. Dr. Dorsey has earned a Ph.D. in Social Welfare, a Masters in Social Work, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Sciences (major: Fashion Merchandising).Peace and Blessings
