412 – Why Is There So Much Need?

In this episode, we talk about the genesis of the desperate need we see all around us. First, there are physical needs. There is enough in the world to feed, clothe and shelter every single soul. We simply do not make it happen. Greed, laziness, apathy, “I got mine,” and all the rest. So what do we do? We make choices. Need comes because there are those who have who want more. Of anything. More money, more power, more notoriety. There is not enough money or power in the universe to satisfy because those things do not satisfy. Love, kindness, service, goodness. Those things deeply satisfy. We are more isolated, blinded, and confused, so those who market such get rich. We can choose otherwise.
