27: Vedic Astrology and Cultivating the Knowledge of Self with Steven Highburger

He is one of my main mentors in Vedic Astrology. Steven studied intensively with the world-renowned master of Vedic traditions, Hart deFouw, and he received the highest level of certification from the American College of Vedic Astrology. We will talk about Steven’s work with Hart and the importance of the student-teacher relationship. Steven is a graduate of the Ayurvedic Institute of New Mexico, where he spent four years studying the classical Ayurveda under Dr. Vasant Lad, and he’s on faculty at Mt. Madonna College of Ayurveda. Besides teaching at the Southern California University of Health Sciences, Steven teaches internationally and maintains a busy private practice in San Rafael, CA.
