Adham Pranayama focuses on deep abdominal breathing, filling the belly like a balloon on the inhalation, with passive exhalation. It can be practiced in different yoga poses such as extended child’s pose, downward-facing dog, legs up the wall, or more. If you are having trouble getting to sleep or relaxing, this is a great practice to do in bed.
