Knocked down and bruised Luke Cage (Mike Colter) struggles with his run in with Bushmaster (Mustafa Shakir) and the after effects of his argument with Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson). As footage of his fight goes viral and spreads across the internet, Luke finds himself increasingly by himself as Claire looks for space and Bobby Fish (Ron Cephas Jones) has to leave to serve as a donor for his sick daughter. Luke distracts himself as he follows the trail of clues surrounding the Jamaican Yardie gang and Bushmaster. With the help of Misty Knight (Simone Missick) they discover the rest of the body of Nigel Garrison (Macc Plaise) and Bushmaster’s drive to right the perceived wrongs committed against his parents. Meanwhile, Bushmaster comes face-to-face at Harlem’s Paradise with Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard) and speaks of history, Harlem and his ancestors involvement in Harlem. Intrigued by their encounter Shades (Theo Rossi) follows him back to his restaurant to learn more just as Captain Ridenhour (Peter Jay Fernandez) learns more from Darius “Comanche” Jones (Thomas Q. Jones). After continuing his investigation at Tilda Dillard's (Gabrielle Dennis) shop, Luke returns to Pop’s alone, but an unexpected knock at the door further adds to Luke Cage’s misery!
