We're back at the cinema for our Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn Movie Review. With the title changed to Harley Quinn : Birds of Prey we're hopeful lots more people will go see this fun trip through the mind of one of DC's most enjoyable villains.

Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) puts the finishing touches to her relationship with The Joker by blowing up Ace Chemicals where her story began. This drunken act lifts the protection of the clown Prince of crime that she has enjoyed for years.



To save herself Harley agrees to find the Bertinelli diamond for crazed, black mask wearing, businessman Roman Sionis (Ewan McGregor). She quickly finds out that a young thief Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) has hidden the priceless diamond by swallowing it.



While they wait for the laxatives, prune juice and chillies to take effect, Detective Rennee Montoya (Rosie Perez), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) all track them down either to help Cassandra from the bounty on her head.



As Roman Sionis bears down with Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina) and an army of mercenaries the five ladies form a tentative pact to rid Gotham city of this sleazebag.
