Written by: Charlie Huston

Jervis Tetch (Benedict Samuel), Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan), Scarecrow (David W. Thompson) and the rest of the inmates in the asylum escape into Gotham. As Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) respond to the breakout Jervis give them a run for their money, hypnotizing hundreds of Gotham citizens to stand on rooftops. At the strike of twelve they fly. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), with help from Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova), devises his own strategy to thwart Jerome and bring him back into custody. Bruce tracks him to his Uncle Zach Trumble’s (John Treacy Egan) diner, but his intervention allows Jerome to escape once again and this time with valuable information about an unknown person at the School of St Ignatius. As Gotham goes to rack and ruin Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) finally discovers her calling and the events of her resurrection at the hands of Ra's Al Ghul (Alexander Siddig). She is the Demon’s Head and she will command the League of Shadows! As the hour nears midnight Jim realises Tetch’s deception as he has programmed his victims to jump as the clock strikes twelve or if they are told not to. But Jim manages to apprehend Tetch at W.Z.P.Z. radio station and finds a loophole saving the intended victims including Harvey Bullock. However, on his return journey to Arkham, Tetch is rescued by Scarecrow and Jerome as it is revealed that another slight of hand was deployed on Gotham by the evil trinity.
