On today’s episode, Kat & Jasmine sit down with Mike Ganino as he shares his incredible story of becoming a father via international surrogacy. Mike explains how he and his husband, Phil, selected their surrogate by flipping through a database of women that were total strangers, and why international surrogacy worked for them. Their TTC journey took an unexpected turn when their daughter was born 3 months premature, which led to an extended stay in Mexico, many anxious moments, and a giant hospital bill. Through their challenges, Mike, Phil, and their daughter found themselves physically separated due to the pandemic which led them to recognize and value the support of many other strangers around them.
