Topical Teachings – The Servant of YAH
Torah to the Tribes - Un podcast de Matthew Nolan - Les dimanches
MARIO SALERNO, Sept 20th 1958 – April 16th 2020. It’s with a heavy heart that I write today to let you know my dearest friend and true blue brother, a most loyal servant of יהוה was gathered together with the general assembly and called out ones of the firstborn, which are written in heaven. Mario Salerno, a husband, father, son and brother died last night peacefully at home in the care of his beloved wife Tamara and loyal and doting son Joshua by his side. These past days Mario, a just man was being perfected in his spirit, so today is bitter-sweet for all of us who had the honor of knowing and loving Mario. Severe bitterness for the loss of life, friendship love and laughter, yet sweet to know that my beloved friend was being made perfect to Yahusha the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling in the last few days of his life. Mario Salerno finished well this we know! He stood by me, stood by this ministry when so many abandoned and departed along the way, he took flack for that but he stood, and stood stronger as the days and years went by. He was a true blue servant, motivated out of love for Yah, not selfish gain or want of position or title. He was just Mario, the servant of Yah! I loved this man…in so many deep ways that only he and I knew…and we knew. Like myself he had a rough past, a past of worldly sin…but because of this, his faith was born, it wasn’t read, it wasn’t borrowed, it wasn’t believed, it was born! Mario and I were kindred from the start. Mario was authentic, his faith was authentic and that is what others “born” recognized too. Mario is the pioneer behind all of our Zoom digital platforms and groups that turned into torahtothetribes.com/connect and you can all see the fruit and bounty of that faithful work, a work that so many of us enjoy each and every day and each and every week, a work that has connected us together world wide. Mario was an integral planner and servant at the feasts and festivals, he and his family dedicated their all to showing up at the Moedim ready to worship ready to serve after months of behind the scenes work and prayer and planning beforehand, with ask of nothing. My wife and I were so blessed to share our wedding anniversary with Mario and Tamara last year here in Oregon, it was a gift, a true gracious gift for us all, a time that will stay with me as one of the fondest ever! I am so torn up right here I think this is all I can write, there is so much more to say, so many more stories to be told about this man a true brother to me, a man who I loved in a innermost way, a man that impacted all of our lives. So many of us today are all torn up over his death, but then there’s a smile, an assurance that Mario was the servant of Yah that finished well. I love you my dear brother, my loyal friend, I prepare for our time together again. XXX.
