Trevor Graves was one of the most influential people in the late 80s and early 90s over the sport of snowboarding. As a photographer he broke countless careers onto the media stage. He was innovative, creative and above all else, perhaps, driven. In 1988 he moved west from upstate New York to Salem Oregon to base his photography business in the west. Soon he was working for Morrow Snowboards. After Morrow, Trevor was one of the founding patners of Portland’s acclaimed Nemo Design agency (www.nemodesign.com). Handling creative for brands like Converse, Mastercraft, Signal Snowboards and the Ikon Pass, chances are you are already familiar with Nemo’s work. Trevor has one of the best, most well rounded opinions on snowboarding - as well, he offers great advice in this interview.
