Julia is a professor of psychology, a director of the mental health and nutrition research group at the University of Canterbury and co author of the better brain. Julia has been researching the link between mental health conditions and nutrition for over a decade and how using nutrients can be a viable cure for mental illness. This was a very interesting conversation that really emphasised the importance of our nutrition and why the traditional route of going for pills and antidepressants may not be the best approach.
