Episode 46: Ria Story, Everyone Has a Story to Tell

Ria Story is a leadership speaker, trainer, and author. However, her story, and how she came to be where she is today, is not one that began with such great optimism. From 12 to 19 years of age, she was sexually abused and trafficked by her father. She became a victim of her circumstances, lacked self-confidence, and she was unable to help herself or anyone else. She encountered moments where she wanted to take her own life because she thought she would never get out of her situation. This story is all too common, and many women, who have gone through this as young girls, are unable to feel a sense of self-worth and self-love.
