HOUR 3 - Cherington talks, Steve Palazzolo, Debrief

We heard some of the press conference of Ben Cherington today following the Derek Shelton firing. Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve didn’t want to pick a definitive winner between the Steelers and Cowboys with the George Pickens trade because he can see it really working for both sides here. Steve commented on the timing of this deal and has a feeling the Cowboys saw the player they wanted go ahead of time in the 1st round a couple weeks ago. Steve would love to see the Steelers focus more on 2026 and 2027 and keep building the roster for the future instead of continuing to try biting at that apple. Steve pointed out that we have never seen DK Metcalf as the sole receiving threat in an offense. Who are some names that could be legit WR2 options on the roster or guys the Steelers could bring in? Steve talked about the strategy of putting yourself in position to set yourself up for the future. The guys asked Steve about some upcoming QB prospects.
