He also lectures at St Andrew’s University and has previously held the Corporate Chair in Counterterrorism and Counterinsurgency at the RAND Corporation. Professor Hoffman was appointed by the U.S. Congress in 2013 to serve as a commissioner on the Independent Commission to Review the FBI’s Post-9/11 Response to Terrorism and Radicalization.Dr Sidney Jones is the Director of the Institute for Policy Analysis of Conflict. Prior to this she held roles with the International Crisis Group, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and the Ford Foundation. She is widely acknowledged as a leading international authority on terrorism in Indonesia and South-east Asia.Chris Farnham is the presenter of the National Security Podcast.
