Barri Leiner Grant takes us into her work as the founder and facilitator of The Memory Circle, an open circle for people to come together to talk about death through the healing process of sharing memories of lost loved ones. Ever since she lost her mom, Ellen Jane, in 1993, she believed that grief stories and loss need a better place to live in modern society. She is a stylist, author, self-proclaimed vintage junkie and proud mom. Her entrepreneurial journey is impressive. For nearly three decades, she has established herself in the editorial and commercial markets, working with leading architects, photographers and designers who call on her “trend-spotting” expertise. Barri has co-created a jewellery company based on her love of vintage. Her background in yoga and meditation adds a spirited touch to her work and the world around her.
