WE GOT SUED! (Sorta) Feat. Ricky Corona of Corona Law Firm - Episode 45

The Coffee Breakup - Un podcast de The Coffee Breakup

We at the Coffee Breakup strive to give people the best advice possible. Honest, heartfelt and genuine. We have uncomfortable conversations not because we believe in shaming people, but rather we want to encourage people to do better, to be better. This a platform for vulnerability. We are honest with our own mistakes and flaws and often when we give advice, we use experiences from our pasts. We want people to understand that they are not alone; that others can relate. Never do we mention who exactly we mean when we share our experiences. Yet, there are those who felt that we personally attacked them in one of our recent episodes. In response to our episode, we were sent a cease and desist letter by a lawyer who was working on behalf of certain individuals. They didn’t want us to publish that episode (Episode 43) because, for whatever reason, they believed we were talking about them. Of course, no names were ever mentioned and no private information was divulged in that episode. So we did what had to be done: We wiped our assesses with that letter and released the episode anyways. Because no one tells us at The Coffee Breakup what we can and cannot talk about. Ricky Corona, a lawyer at Corona Law firm heard about this outrageous accusation against us and was so kind enough to represent us in this matter. We got the chance to sit down with the man and talk about the cease and desist letter, certain other legalities when it comes to buying homes, having children with someone, and more. Tune in. You’re going to love this one. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thecoffeebreakup/support
