The Mid-State Mile is a last person standing event like no other. Runners have 20 minutes to complete a 1.1 mile loop with over 340 feet of gain and loss in that mile. Eric Kienle, who has run the race every year since it started finally won, and set a new course record of 133 miles, 41 total hours on the course.
