why 40 was my favourite year and 2023 reflections

what does it mean to be 40 and single? Well, according to me, DAMN GOOD! Because it was. I can’t articulate it (ha! What kind of writer am I!?) because it’s a feeling that I’ve never experienced before… it’s immense gratitude and love and acceptance for me. And that’s something I have learned only comes with time and experience and dare I say it — age. It’s been a privilege to turn 40 as a single woman who’s lived her life outside the box, and I look forward to the next year and decade because I know life only continues to surprise and challenge and ultimately delight me.
