The Prestige

The Prestige may be Christopher Nolan's most underrated film. This brilliant thriller follows the diaries of feuding magicians in 1890's London. Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) is on a path of vengeance against his enemy, Alfred Borden (Christian Bale), for the accidental death of his wife during a magic trick. Both magicians will stop at nothing and get their hands dirty to create the superior magic trick over the other.
