Introducing the first of their two title songs, Jeno shared, 'BTTF' is a song about time traveling to the past. It's about time traveling to go find when I shined the brightest, adding that the song features a powerful performance. Jisung shared, While recording—we didn't sing, we screamed. Regarding CHILLER, which is a song that connects to BTTF, Jaemin brought up the contrasting vibes at the recording studio while singing the song. He shared, We recorded it in a very chill way. This song showcases NCT DREAM's color very well. Highlighting the dance performance for BTTF, Jisung shared, When I think about it, it's the dance that takes the most energy out of all our dances. Jeno elaborated, If you look closely at the choreography, there are lots of cool time travel elements, mentioning movements such as opening a portal. Renjun quipped that the choreographer watched Back to the Future twice to gain inspiration. In contrast, the members explained that CHILLER is a funky hip hop song, with Leejung being their dance teacher, featuring lots of unique elements and locking in the choreography. NCT DREAM also talked about paying homage to the film Back to the Future through their comeback and music video for BTTF, which used props similar to those in the film. He wittily added, We got official permission from Universal Studios and Amblin Entertainment. He shared, In the end, we make our own future.
