Moms in Prayer Podcast - Un podcast de Moms in Prayer, Int'l and Christian Parenting - Les lundis

“My greatest strength is realizing that Jesus is my greatest need.” Today Aubrie sits down with author and speaker, Shellie Rushing Tomlinson, to talk about the peace and joy that is found in walking with Jesus. We don’t have to buckle down and just get through our fear or work through things on our own. We have God, Who is so present with us, to call upon and ask for His help and power to work in and through our situation. Shellie also shares about her newest book, “Seizing the Good Life”, and reminds us that JESUS is the good life.  The Moms in Prayer Podcast is a part of the Christian Parenting Podcast Network. She fell in love with storytelling as a child when her paternal grandmother regaled her with stories of what it was like to come to Louisiana from the hills of Appalachia and set up house in a tent with a dirt floor. On the other side of the family tree, her maternal grandfather, a people-loving preacher, was known for using humor to draw his listeners to Jesus. It's safe to say the two of them marked her. Whether in her books, speaking before audiences, or dropping a segment on her podcast, she loves nothing more than helping hungry hearts feast on Jesus through humor and storytelling. SCRIPTURESAnd he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me.
