Steelers Draft Day Scenarios: Trading Back w/Teams Like Chiefs/Packers to Double-Up on Top 40 Picks

Chris Carter, NFL and NCAAF analyst, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast. The Pittsburgh Steelers have positioned themselves to have several paths on Draft Day, and one could be to trade back. But they should only do so to maximize getting multiple top 40 or top 50 picks in a class that has plenty of talent that fits their needs in the early rounds. The Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers could be two desperate teams for such a trade. Doing so would allow the Steelers to potentially address two different positions with potential starters like safeties Lewis Cine, Daxton Hill and Jaquan Brisker, while also getting receivers like George Pickens, Skyy Moore, Treylon Burks, or defensive linemen like Travis Jones, Perrion Winfrey, Devonte Wyatt or DeMarvin Leal.
