NFL Combine: Will Steelers Commit to First Round QBs Kenny Pickett, Malik Willis or Matt Corral?

Locked On Steelers – Daily Podcast On The Pittsburgh Steelers - Un podcast de Locked On Podcast Network, Christopher Carter

Chris Carter, NFL and NCAAF analyst, is joined by Wes Uhler of Steeler Nation Radio. The NFL Scouting Combine is underway and several of the top quarterback prospects are talking about their interviews with the Pittsburgh Steelers in a positive light. But does any of this guarantee the Steelers take one of these quarterbacks? Kenny Pickett, Malik Willis and Matt Corral each talked about their interactions with Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert from interviews to informal conversations and how positive they feel about the Steelers organization. While on radio row, Wes talks about which quarterback seems to be shining the brightest during interviews. The Steelers' continued presence in talking to quarterbacks during the combine is to be expected, but the team cannot afford to overdraft a quarterback when several positions of need could have top players fall to the Steelers' 20th overall pick in the first round. Center Tyler Linderbaum, guard Kenyon Green and linebacker Devin Lloyd are among the players who could make the team reconsider. It's important understand why Colbert and Tomlin are preparing several contingencies for how the first round of the NFL Draft could play out. Follow Chris Carter on Twitter: @CarterCritiques.
