Both his activities are focused on a strong interest in the relation with the natural environment, being it seen as connection with what is surrounding us and with our inner life. This attitude has brought him to connect with sustainability since the very beginning of his professional path in the wine business, as a consequence of his approach with music. As a wine producer he's always dedicated part of his time to serving within associations dedicated to the protection and promotion of appellations and territories, such as the so called “Consorzi di Tutela” and others. His wines have been awarded with the most important recognitions. He's known for having lead a long debate on how infrastructures such as high-speed trains are impacting on fragile territories and how farmers should regard biodiversity as a productive tool. He's a promoter of circular economy and of a holistic and individual approach to sustainability.
