Ep. 1796 Giulia Stocchetti Interviews Gloria Dal Bosco | The Next Generation

Italian Wine Podcast - Un podcast de Italian Wine Podcast

Welcome to Episode 1796 in which host Giulia Stocchetti interviews Gloria Dal Bosco this week on The Next Generation where young Italian wine people 30 and under shake up the wine scene. More about today’s winery: Le Battistelle winery comes from the passion for the viticolture of the Dal Bosco's family. 20 years ago Gelmino and Cristina (the founders) stopped selling the grapes to the local cooperative to create their own interpretation of Soave Classico; today, with Andrea and Gloria (the sons) they enlarged the production with several kinds of Soave Classico. In Brognoligo, the little village in the heart of Soave Classico where they are located the soil is of volcanic origin and the viticolture is extreme: steep hills and dry stone walls.
