Feminist Talks: Abortion Rights

Inequality Talks - Un podcast de Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, Aarhus

In this episode, Lavinia Moldovan interviews Judith Moser and Zeynep Yilmaz about abortion rights and activism on a global scale. Judith wrote her Master's thesis on the use of storytelling in debates on abortion rights in Ireland and Germany, and Zeynep is a research scientist at Aarhus University. This episode presents an overview of abortion rights through an intersectional and trans-inclusive feminist lens, and the conversations centre around the importance of access to safe abortion as a human right from the perspective of bodily autonomy and access to health care. Specific examples about abortion laws around the world are discussed to provide a global context. Additionally, we provide a list of resources for different types of activism geared toward creating better conditions to further abortion rights.   Recorded and edited by: Kirsi Tilk https://kirsitilk.com/   Music by: Cole B. @ https://soundcloud.com/colbylight   Source List: https://inequalitytalks.podbean.com/p/feminist-talks-abortion-episode-source-list/   More about Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke https://www.ms.dk/mellemfolk https://www.facebook.com/msaarhus https://www.instagram.com/mellemfolkeligtsamvirke_aarhus/
