Episode 13: Tom Hill on The preshow

Tom Hill is one half of the improv, comedy and theatre duo Hip.Bang!, a performing member of Treat Show Comedy, and Artistic Director of Blind Tiger Comedy in Vancouver. He also sits on the board of the Foundation for Canadian Comedy. Tom and I talked about the importance of the preshow, to get the right vibe, about hosting and to adjust the show to the audience. We talked about high risk and high reward, to play specific and keep your shit and about big emotional responses. And we also talked about sandwichens and how to juggle with bananas.
