Dr Lu Lu’s child went to Stanford and Dr Lu Lu heard the pronouns they/them for the very first time referencing her own child at the Graduation Ceremony. Dr Lu Lu struggled to understand what this meant for her child and to accept it and she realised if she struggled with this concept as an LGBTQ+ herself, many parents would also be struggling.
