Scripture: John 12:23-26 23 Jesus replied, “Now the time has come for the Son of Man[a] to enter into his glory. 24 I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives. 25 Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. 26 Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me. Points: Stick to Your Spiritual Gifts! * Romans 12:6-9 Spiritual Gifts List: i. Administration (Leadership and organization) ii. Apostle (preaching and teaching) iii. Discernment (wisdom, guidance, decisions) iv. Evangelism (successfully sharing the gospel with people) v. Exhortation (giving messages/motivating/warning) vi. Faith (simply believing and experiencing God work) vii. Giving (money/time/gifts/food/cards/etc.) viii. Healing (miraculous in the physical, emotional and mental, doctors) ix. Helps (supportive, assisting, enabling others to focus) x. Hospitality (ability to make others feel comfortable and welcomed) xi. Knowledge (gift of information both in scripture and other things) xii. Leadership (ability to motivate, direct, and care for people for a task) xiii. Mercy (ability to sympathize and have empathy with others) xiv. Prophecy (Ability to deliver a message from God to others) xv. Serving (identifies needs and makes sure they are tended to) xvi. Speaking in tongues (supernatural ability to speak in another language) xvii. Teaching (communicates scripture effectively for understanding and application) xviii.
