Welcome Graham fam! We are so glad you could watch Sunday morning online with us. If you would like to watch our past services, you can do so here: https://www.gcwesleyan.org/teaching/ Apologetics 101 – 1 – The Bible: A Book More than just Words Scripture: 1 Peter 3:15, Romans 1:20 Points:1. The Bible was Written Early2. The Bible is Historically Reliable3. The Bible is Embarrassing– Matthew 28:1– Matthew 28:9-104. This Bible is the Last Book Humans would Write– Luke 9:23– John 15:18– Matthew 8:20– John 16:13 Ending:As we continue on in this series next week, we will continue to talk about and use the Bible as a source of making a case for God. We can do that because it is written by eye witnesses and because it continues to be proven true historically, metaphysically, and even in astrophysics. And what is just as important and really more important is that you can read the Bible and know it is true. The verse of the day on the Youversion Bible app on Thursday was this:But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.-John 16:13God wants you to know the truth. He has given us the Bible as inspired by the Holy Spirit to guide you in the truth. Following God is not easy. It won’t make you rich. But it will lead you in the truth. It will guide you in the right ways. God hasn’t left you on your own. He has given you His very word to help direct the steps of your life. The question is if we are going to listen to God and obey.
