Metrosexual is a blend of metropolitan and heterosexual, coined in the 1990's describing a man (especially one living in an urban, post-industrial, capitalist culture) who is especially meticulous about his grooming and appearance, typically spending a significant amount of time and money on shopping as part of this. It is somewhat of a turn on what European men from France and Italy are characterized as. However, the love a Metrosexual mostly have is more about themselves than men or woman.
