Chasing Bandos UrbEx Podcast - Un podcast de Greg Abandoned - Les samedis

On today's episode - second one on the Famagusta Special - I welcome an artist and a documentary maker Vasia Markides (Hidden in the Sand 2008) who is a Cypriot and her mother lived in Famagusta at the time of the war. Vasia shares details of her ambitious project of turning the ghost town into Eco-City. Vasia talked about her passion for the abandoned city and she shares stories of the former residents. She also describes that this isn't a one-sided story and we somehow manage to find a way to blame the British for all that went wrong:) You can reach out to Vasia by going to her website vasiamarkides.com or by checking her instagram page vasiaki.  Chasing Bandos Podcast is available on chasingbandospodcast.com or your favourite podcasting app. Check out the pictures of our guest on Instagram at chasingbandospod.  You can get in contact by email: [email protected]  Why 'urbex explorers' don't share exact locations here: gregabandoned.com/urbex Intro song is Watcha Gon' Do is performed by Chris Shards [EPIDEMIC SOUND MUSIC LICENSE].
