BraveMen S3E65: "JB" James Brown - Legendary Broadcaster, Passionate Faith

Brave Men Podcast - Un podcast de Paul Louis Cole

“JB” – for millions of sports fans those initials mean action, insight and integrity. James Brown, “JB”, is the current host of “The NFL Today” on CBS and "Inside The NFL" on Showtime. JB is a multiple Emmy Award-winning network broadcaster, has hosted the Super Bowl nine times, is a founding partner of the World Series Champion Washington Nationals and was elected into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame in August 2020.   Today on BraveMen we meet the man behind the broadcast studio … a man of passionate faith and great love of family. Paul and his friend JB talk about manhood in today’s environment, about sports, about friendship and about living a life that finishes strong.   Most of us know JB from “Thursday Night Football” on CBS and The NFL Network, co-hosting “Fox NFL Sunday” but most of us didn’t know that he was a three-time All-Ivy league basketball player and is in the Harvard Basketball Hall of Fame. That along with his numerous broadcast awards he has also been deeply involved in his local church and in a number of charitable organizations, including GENYOUth of which he is a Board Member, the Ron & Joy Paul Kidney Center at George Washington University and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. JB is an ordained minister and is actively involved in speaking at churches and conferences around the country.
