Unconditional Permission & Belief with Marcus Kain

Binge Breakers - Bulimia Recovery - Un podcast de Jacqueline Davis, Bulimia & Weightloss Coach - Les vendredis

Marcus joins me on the podcast today to discuss bulimia and binge eating recovery topics we’re seeing pop up lately. We cover: Unconditional Permission to Eat, what it means to us, why it’s helpful, and how to apply it without eating everything in sight. Belief systems and how it prevents people from recovery. Marcus in particular was vulnerable enough to share a conversation he had with someone who had such limiting beliefs that Marcus was unable to help them. We speak at length about this, why this person had trouble changing, what could have been different, and how it’s hard for all of us to change our beliefs. Weight loss with eating disorder-informed guidance and not following unrealistic guidelines. We chat about how post-recovery people can get trapped back into their eating disorder by not being careful with weight loss goals. Equally, we discuss how weight loss is a possibility if done sustainably.   If you want to find out more about Marcus you can visit https://www.mkaincoaching.com/strong-not-starving   For more information on private coaching, group coaching, free resources, & more go to https://www.bingebreakers.com   Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bingebreakers_bulimia/     DISCLAIMER   This recording is not nor is intended to be utilized as medical advice or a medical diagnosis.
