Acclaimed author Lauren Groff joins us for a preview conversation highlighting her new novel and our "Get Lit with All Of It" October selection, Matrix. The novel tells the story of Marie de France, a 12th century nun who is expelled from the court of Eleanor of Aquitaine, only to find power as the prioress of a failing abbey. Matrix is a National Book Award nominee and a New York Times bestseller. Groff will join us for our virtual book club event on Wednesday, October 27 at 7 pm. Liane Moriarty is the author behind the massive bestsellers (turned into television hits) Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers. In her latest novel, Moriarty follows four siblings… two are convinced their father has something to do with the recent mysterious disappearance of their mother. The other two are convinced he’s innocent. Moriarty joins us to discuss the novel, Apples Never Fall. Arianna Rebolini, Former Buzzfeed Book Editor and now publisher of her own newsletter, “Reading Habits,” joins to share some of the fall book releases she’s looking forward to in our latest installment of “Review/Preview.” Recently at The Atlantic Festival, Alison spoke with Ken Burns and Rasheeda Ali about the new four-part PBS documentary, "Muhammad Ali," co-directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns, and David McMahon. We air the full conversation for our All Of It listeners. "Muhammad Ali" is on PBS streaming platforms until October 9. Our resident TV expert, Vulture staff writer Kathryn Van Arendonk, joins us to preview the fall TV season and shares which shows she’s especially excited about.
