Exploring the Fungi of New York City

There are over 1000 different kinds of fungi in the five boroughs of New York City. To learn more about the science of fungi, how to spot them around the city, and the best methods to cooking with different mushrooms, we're joined by Sigrid Jakob and Tom Bigelow, members of the New York Mycological Society, an organization created by New Yorkers passionate about fungi that has been hosting walking tours, lectures, and workshops since 1962.
