Today, I am sharing part 1 of a 3-part series of South Carolina serial killer Donald Gaskins. Donald Henry Gaskins went by many nicknames in the media when he was arrested in December of 1975. Some of them were Junior Parrott, The Redneck Charles Manson, the Meanest Man in America, and Pee Wee. This small statured man barely 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 lbs., struck fear into the hearts of those living in South Carolina in the 1970s and 1980s. Donald Gaskins is definitely a case that it is hard to decipher in the nature versus nurture argument in what makes a serial killer. After this case, I want to know what you think. Was he born a killer? Or was he made into a killer?  Let's talk about his background/family life and time in reform school. Picking apart each of his pivotal moments and seeing what makes him tick.  I hope you grabbed onto those butts, because it's about to get heavy in here. I include a listener digression and have trigger warnings throughout, but just one more time for those in the back, it's a very heavy case with triggering topics. www.addictedtocrime.org [email protected] I'll be back SOON with part 2 and 3. Stay safe!
