Polotsky is an American entrepreneur who graduated from Northwestern University in 2017 and started his CoinFlip way back in 2015 while he was in college. Prior to building CoinFlip, Daniel has worked in Uber, Citadel, and Morgan Stanley. He was motivated to start CoinFlip in 2015 after being frustrated with his bad experiences on ATMs. At CoinFlip, they believe a cryptocurrency is a tool that can accelerate financial inclusion across the globe. They are providing access to essential financial services in addition to making cryptocurrency more mainstream. As the CEO and CO-Founder, Daniel is responsible for guiding daily company operations, including overseeing and managing the company’s rapidly growing network of over 600 ATMs, and forging business relationships and partnerships.
