Any of us could suffer a nonfatal cardiac arrest. Sudden cardiac arrest is not limited to patients with heart disease. Even athletes could have a sudden and unexpected cardiac arrest. We must be prepared as society (external defibrillators and CRP) but also as cardiologists (to perform the correct studies). In this interview, Manlio Marquez, MD, FACC and Jeroen J.
