#18 Why We Need To End Anti-Blackness In Our Communities (with Jonah Batambuze)

A Millennial Mind - Un podcast de Shivani Pau - Les mardis

In this episode I sat down with Jonah from the Blindian Project earlier today to talk through the Indian Expectation on interracial relationships. We talk about the stereotypes and taboos attached to marrying someone outside your race, caste or community. We also talk about anti blackness, the negative effects of colourism, the awful phrase ‘BMW’ and how we can start to normalise interracial relationships. Jonah is one nicest people I’ve met- he’s recorded this podcast with me several times because of issues at my end and I am so grateful and happy that he was able to share all the incredible work he’s doing with the Blindian Project.
