A Gut Story by Dimple Jangda - Un podcast de Dr Dimple Jangda

In today’s podcast, Dr. Dimple and Dr. Mickey cover a lot of interesting topics, which indicate things that didn’t exist before but now have such a huge impact on human beings.   Intro   Did you know that excess protein consumption wasn’t traditionally common for humans? Our ancestors primarily relied on a balanced diet, emphasizing a mix of protein, carbohydrates, and fats from natural sources. Modern diets with excessive protein can strain the kidneys and may lead to health issues, deviating from historical eating patterns. (1:01) Food is information, and it contributes to not just physical but also mental and emotional levels. We have evolved as human beings. In ancient times, humans were predominantly carnivores, relying on hunting for survival. Our ancestors' diets were shaped by the availability of animal protein, essential for energy and sustenance in challenging environments. However, with the advent of agriculture and farming, there has been a significant shift. The growth of plant-based cultivation led to a more diversified and accessible food supply (1:14). The idea that eating less can bring more consciousness is rooted in various philosophical and spiritual traditions, including practices like mindful eating and intermittent fasting. A balanced and mindful approach to eating is often encouraged for overall well-being. It is very important to break free from the trap of gluttony and overeating, and adopting mindful eating practices, understanding emotional triggers, and making informed food choices are essential (2:49). Have you ever wondered why our ancestors never knew of gluten intolerance and lactose intolerance? The factors could be: - Modern wheat varieties developed for high yield and disease resistance often differ from ancestral wheat varieties. - The industrial processing of wheat into refined flour and the widespread use of additives in food production have altered the characteristics of wheat-based products. These changes might impact how the immune system responds to gluten proteins. - The use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers in modern agriculture could introduce environmental factors that influence the composition of crops, potentially impacting gluten content or triggering sensitivities. (3:33) However, the key aspects of how milk is modified by agricultural and technological practices to serve the demands of growing population could be: - Genetic advancements contribute to higher productivity in dairy animals. - Modern farming practices include optimized feeding regimes, often with a mix of grains, forages, and supplements to support the health and productivity of the animals. - Some dairy farming practices involve the use of hormones and growth promoters to enhance milk production (4:08). It is important to understand that breathing in yoga is a dynamic, continuous process involving both inhalation and exhalation. The emphasis on exhalation in yoga is highlighted for several reasons, like detoxification, relaxation, and calming, improved lung capacity and mind-body connection (7:34) Outro 👩🏻‍⚕Book a personal Drs & Diet consult to reverse diseases 👩🏻‍💻 Enroll for 3 Day Gut Reset workshop, Ayurveda Masterclass 📕 Order Bestseller “Heal Your Gut, Mind & Emotions” on Amazon Discount code PRANA10 on consult PRANA20 on Masterclass Heal your body! • Weight loss, full body detox • Gut Health issues: Bloating, indigestion, GERD, constipation, IBS, leaky gut syndrome • Gynaecological : PCOS / PCOD, Infertility, irregular periods • Bone : Osteoporosis, Arthritis, rheumatism, spondylosis • Skin : Eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, urticaria, acne • Psychosomatic : Anxiety, stress, depression • ENT: Ear, nose, throat issues Prana by Dimple www.pranabydimple.com WhatsApp : 7718020393 / 991 [email protected]
