Borzoo and the 'semla'

50 plus och sen då?! - Un podcast de Cattis Ninni

The 'semla', a cardamom bun filled with almond paste and whipped cream is a Swedish tradition eaten on the second Tuesday in February to celebrate (fatten up perhaps) before the fasting period of Lent. Today I lined up outside one of the best bakeries in Stockholm to get my hands on a couple of semlor for Cattis and I and had a lovely chat with Borzoo who was lining up just like me. A reminder of how nice it is to have a little chit chat to a 'stranger' in the street, to open up a bit, let the guard down, connect somewhat ... The waiting time of 15 minutes just flew and definitely brightened my day.
