Earlier this year, the former captain of the Prince George Spruce Kings turned referee was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. When 24-year-old Braiden Epp received the news, he quickly got involved in helping to find a cure for the disease. Braiden joins Jeff and Elliotte to talk about some of the challenges he has faced since being diagnosed, why it was important to him and his peers to begin raising funds, getting back on the ice, memories from his junior hockey days, sharing the ice with Mathew Barzal, what he enjoys most about refereeing and the guys give Braiden a couple of in-game calls that a referee is forced to make but drive fans crazy.
